At Artaygo, we aim to produce all our unique AI generated artwork with only the finest materials, but it's also important that these materials are sustainable and minimize our impact on the environment.

We do this by ensuring our wood and paper is sustainably-sourced, using water-based inks, and fulfilling orders as close as possible to reduce emissions.  Learn more about each of these initiatives below!

Sustainable Wood and Canvas

Artaygo is proud to support sustainable supply practices when it procures frames and canvas materials. To best achieve that goal, we aim to source all of our wood and paper products from vendors and supply chain partners that adhere to the Forest Management Certification (FSC).

This non-profit organization certifies forestry operations to ensure that forests are managed to preserve biological diversity and benefits the lives of local people and workers, while ensuring the forest sustains economic viability.

There are ten principles that any forest operation must adhere to before it can receive FSC. These principles cover a broad range of issues, from maintaining high conservation values to community relations and workers’ rights, as well as monitoring the environmental and social impacts of the forest management. We encourage you to read about them on the FSC website.

Water Based Inks

Our suppliers and vendors use neo-pigment, water-based inks that are 100% non-hazardous, toxin-free and vegan friendly. They meet the strictest industry standards as defined by Oeko-Tex 100 safety applications for infant wear, Global Organic Textiles (GTOTS-3V), Residues Standard List (RSL) and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists.

What does all of that really mean? Production of your canvas artwork won't damage the environment where it is produced, and once inside your house, shouldn't produce a chemical smell.
